"God loved us so much that he "gave" [John 3:16].

Giving is a tangible way to express our love for God and others.

Giving reflects a grateful heart that wants to give back to God a portion of what He has given us.

James 1:17 says that “every good and perfect gift is from above” so we want to demonstrate our awareness that God is the “owner” of our finances by giving back to Him the first of what He gives us.

Giving helps us grow as we trust God by releasing our resources and in return, he leads us to a place of flourishing.

“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work” (2 Corinthians 9:7-8).
